Current Forecast and Information | Seattle WA Weather

Contrary to popular belief, it does not rain all the time in Seattle. In fact, many large cities such as Atlanta, New York and Washington D.C. receive more annual precipitation than Seattle does.

Seattle summers are usually warm, dry and sunny although even the warmest of days is followed by a cool evening. The driest time of year in Seattle is the second half of July and the first half of August. Fall brings significantly cooler temperatures, especially at night. Naturally, winter is the wettest season of the year and generally begins on October 1.
